Q:Precautions when turning the power on or off

A:The output state of the sensor when the power is turned on or off is OFF regardless of whether it is detected or not. In particular, when the power is turned on, the operation in which the output state is OFF for a certain period of time is called initial reset. However, in the following cases, the output will have an instantaneous ON (OFF) state, which is proportional to the length of the sensor's operating distance, which is about 10 to 100 ms. When the sensor is connected to the counter and the programmable controller, there is no problem because the counter and the programmable controller have an initial reset circuit inside. In other cases, please be careful to avoid the following situations. The detector is located near the detection distance of the sensor For DC voltage type and DC switch type sensors, the time constant is greatly increased (decreased) when the power is turned on (off). AC switch type sensor, when it is powered on (disconnected), there is self-excitation and noise.

2、Q:Precautions for wire checking

A:Using a buzzer, a lamp, etc. to inspect the wiring of the sensor may result in high voltage and large current. Therefore, please do not use this inspection method.
